I like this one. There's a kind of onward Christian soldiers tone -
forward to victory. The from is good. This one has a nice shifting
rhythm and the from adds to it. I don't know if you do this on purpose
but you always seem to break out of the rhythm on the last line.
There was a young man of Japan
Whose limericks never would scan
When asked why this was
He replied, "'Tis because
I always try to fit as many syllables into the last line as I possibly can."
Thanks for noticing Kernaghan and Strunk. Really the whole thing was an
excuse to do that. I've got a touch up too.
