at least once every other every now and then where I catch myself falling
backward, failing patience, its easy to see when it gets its own critical
mass, bright stars born of a moments notice leading away off all in
different directions, all directions except the one that leads completely
forward. Don't get me wrong, there will be pauses, you can tell the
difference because one is still and the other always in motion either
ascending or descending. So many right now caught up in the struggle just
to stay above the next coming wave, let alone ride it. Thats a piece of it,
and when it comes down to the roof and phone and food and travel it can seem
like thats all there is. and when I am standing there, looking at the needs
of the moment I know I must love my harness. I loved Jack London just a
little and I am thankful now for that little piece caught from him somewhere
circa 11 yrs old. It was how the team dogs that dragged the sled needed the
harness. I have only lately caught myself loving the harness and all I can
say is......its about fucking time.
